Here are our group classes for September-
Indian Cooking -Level 1 (vegan friendly)
This class starts with an introduction to the ‘masala dabba’ or a spice box that houses the commonly used spices in Indian cooking. Learn about the spices and spice mixes from sourcing to storing them and the tips and techniques for using them in authentic Indian recipes. With step-by-step guidance, you will learn to make staples like fragrant and perfectly cooked Basmati rice, scrumptious and protein packed- dishes like Chana Masala -chickpea curry made with aromatics and spices, and flavorful and satisfying Tadka Dal –delectable lentils tempered with spices.
All skill levels welcome. This fun, interactive class will help you gain the knowledge and confidence to recreate these recipes in your own kitchen. We will sample our creations at the end of class.
