Diwali Faral Recipes – easy, streamlined, authentic tasting, healthier recipes for sweet and savory snacks, made with ingredients available locally.

Do you have a faral making marathon in your kitchen this weekend? So do I! I have just made my grocery list as per the ‘faral’ snacks I am making, so I am ready to hit the grocery and the Indian store. Once I have the ingredients, I am ready for the faral marathon 🙂
I have compiled Indfused’s Diwali recipes in this collection. I am sharing with you all recipes that I use in my own home. These are recipes that I have developed, tried and tested. They are innovative, healthier, streamlined recipes that are made with ingredients available locally. So I have made them easy to make for all , without compromising the authentic taste.
I am immensely honored when people have written or told me in person that they have been following Indfused’s recipes for all their faral making and entertaining during the Diwali season. You all truly inspire and motivate me. Thank you so much!
I always start the Diwali cooking with something sweet ❤
Here are recipes that will guide you step by easy step! Click on the titles for recipes.
One of Indfused’s most downloaded recipes is the Baked Sutarfeni !

First prize winner- Baked Bakarwadi so moreish, you won’t miss the deep frying!

Gul Pohe are offered to God along with faral on the first day of Diwali. My children are not fans of Gul Pohe, so I came up with this vadi/burfi 🙂

And ending the memorable Diwali celebration with Indfused’s most downloaded recipe- Paan truffles with Gulkand Centers for Bhaubeej!

Wishing you and your family a Happy and Healthy Diwali season!
Love,
❤
Sandhya

Even though Diwali is 5 days away, you are certainly setting up festive mood, Sandhya. While I have had many things you have listed, what is sutarfeni?

Thanks so much Arv. Sutarfeni is a very popular dessert in Maharashtra. I think it is a Persian influence. Traditionally the thin noodles are deep fried but I have a baked version here.
