Here are the dates for our upcoming classes-
A Vegetarian Indian Meal to Remember–
Thursday, October 30, 6 to 8:30 p.m in Lexington
And Wednesday, November 12, 5:30 to 8 p.m.- Family class adult and child 9+ years
You will learn to make the popular Mixed Vegetable Korma from scratch. Korma is a luxurious, creamy dish that pairs well with Jeera Rice. Jeera Rice is a subtly spiced, aromatic rice dish made by infusing Basmati rice with the earthy flavor of whole cumin seeds and other spices. We will round off the meal with a Cabbage Subji. Cabbage Subji is a vibrant and nutritious dry stir fry and is a perfect example of how minimal ingredients and proper technique can elevate a simple vegetable to a star side dish. Limited seats available.
Indian Inspired Dishes For the Holidays-
Thursday, November 6, Thursday November 20 and Thursday December 4, 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Lexington, MA
This menu is designed to inspire and teach participants to create memorable Indian-inspired dishes that elevate any holiday table. Emphasizing health-conscious cooking techniques like air-frying and combining traditional Indian spices with seasonal ingredients we will create dishes that are both elegant and nourishing. We will make Curried Squash Soup-Combined with red lentils and lightly spiced with curry powder, the natural sweetness of the squash pairs beautifully with warming Indian flavors, creating a deeply satisfying, nourishing bowl. Also learn to make Roasted or Air fried Vegetables with Garam Masala- Colorful medley of seasonal vegetables roasted with garam masala, featuring warm notes of cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom and a Basmati Rice Pulav with Butternut Squash– This pulav is delicately spiced with golden cubes of butternut squash that melt into the rice, adding color and richness. This dish feels both cozy and festive.
